Thanks for visiting the official website of the 4th annual Swim for Melissa, benefiting the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
Swim for Melissa will take place on Saturday, August 15 at Hampton Cove’s Hampton House! It’s a non-competitive swim for kids 5 to 14 years old. Registration is $15 per swimmer, and each child will have the opportunity to swim as many laps as possible in a set amount of time. All participants will receive a free t-shirt, and swimmers will receive additional prizes for money raised. In addition to the swim, the entire family is invited to enjoy a day full of family fun – face painting, moon bounce and lots of other children's activities, food, and more!
All money raised at this year’s event will go towards the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment like Giraffe Incubators and Giraffe Warmers for critically ill premature infants in the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. The donations you collect will help us provide this equipment – and we’ve made it so easy! Just register online and create a page for yourself and your team. You can explain why you are swimming and even include a picture! Then, send the link to all of your family and friends and they can make their donation online.
